Privacy note
Solar Entry (solarentry.com) collects the information you submit when you check an address or request a consult — typically your home address, phone number, email, and preferred contact time.
When you submit a request, we also record an approximate location (city, state, country) derived from your IP address by our hosting provider, to help route your request to the right local team. If you choose to tap “Share my location” on the form, your browser will ask permission and we store the precise coordinates you share with your request. Sharing location is always optional and never required to submit. If you arrived through a Solar Entry representative’s personal link, we remember that link’s code in your browser (a first-party cookie and local storage) for 30 days so your request is credited to that representative.
We use that information to run a satellite-based solar screening (via Google Solar / Maps APIs when configured) and to follow up about a consult. Lead details may be stored on our servers, emailed to our team at solarx28@gmail.com, and/or appended to an internal Google Sheet.
We do not sell your personal information. API keys and service credentials stay on the server and are never exposed in the browser for Solar API calls.
